Company Description
CareTutor is a UK-based provider of interactive eLearning, learning management systems, and Skills for Care funded leadership training for health, social care, and childcare providers. The company offers a library of over 100 CPD-accredited courses developed with sector experts, using professional video, animation, and scenario-based learning to improve workforce capability and compliance. CareTutor also creates bespoke eLearning in partnership with organisations, aligning training to specific service needs, policies, and clinical standards, with flexible hosting options on its LMS or client platforms. Its LMS simplifies compliance tracking through custom reporting that provides clear visibility of training progress and regulatory readiness. In addition, CareTutor delivers fully funded virtual leadership programmes, helping providers strengthen management capability and access government-supported development opportunities (subject to eligibility).
Role Description
The Sales Account Executive – New Business and Renewals role is a full-time remote within the UK position with occasional travel to London, our Chiswick office, and UK exhibitions. Candidates living within commuting distance of West London may work from the office up to two days per week. Occasional attendance at team meetings, customer meetings, and exhibitions in London, Birmingham, and elsewhere in the UK will be required.
The role involves identifying and qualifying new business opportunities, generating leads, and presenting CareTutor’s eLearning and LMS solutions to prospective clients across health, social care, and childcare sectors. The Sales Account Executive will manage the full sales cycle, from discovery and product demonstrations to proposal development, contract negotiation, and closing new deals. They will also oversee renewals for existing accounts, ensuring timely contract extensions, upselling relevant solutions, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. - Building and nurturing relationships with decision-makers
- Collaborating with internal teams to tailor solutions
- Tracking sales activity and pipeline in CRM systems
- Reporting on performance against targets
Skills and Experience Required
- Strong lead generation and new business development skills, including prospecting, qualification, and pipeline management.
- Proven account management and renewals experience, with the ability to grow existing accounts and manage contract lifecycles.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex solutions clearly to diverse stakeholders.
- Relationship building and customer service capabilities, focused on trust, responsiveness, and long-term partnerships.
- Experience in B2B sales, ideally within eLearning, SaaS, education, or health and social care sectors.
- Comfort using CRM and sales tools to manage opportunities, forecast revenue, and report on performance.
- Self-motivated, target-driven approach, with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Relevant education or training in business, sales, marketing, or a related field is beneficial.

Package
- £35,000–£40,000 basic salary, depending on experience.
- Target earnings of approximately £45,000–£52,000 when agreed new-business and renewal targets are achieved.
- Permanent, full-time employment.
- Remote working within the UK.
- Occasional in-person meetings at our Chiswick office in West London and attendance at relevant UK exhibitions and customer meetings.
- Company pension.
- Training and support on CareTutor’s products and the social care market.
Our Recruitment Process
Shortlisted applicants will normally complete:
- An initial video interview.
- A practical sales and HubSpot exercise based on a realistic combination of new-business leads and upcoming renewals.
- A final interview and discussion of the exercise.
