Account Growth Specialist – Sales

Do you enjoy building customer relationships, spotting opportunities, and growing accounts?

We’re a family-owned business that genuinely cares about our people and customers. We’re looking for an Account Growth Specialist to manage and grow a portfolio of existing customers.

As our Account Growth Specialist, you'll be the bridge between exceptional service and commercial success. This isn't just about managing accounts; it's about actively growing them. You'll become a trusted advisor to our clients, understanding their unique goals and challenges to introduce innovative products and services that strengthen our partnerships and deliver tangible value. You'll ensure our existing clients remain engaged and loyal through consistent, high-quality communication and service excellence. This role is crucial to our sustainable growth, embodying our values of being Kind and True, Customer Focused, and a Winner.

What you’ll be doing

  • Manage a diverse portfolio of existing customers, maintaining regular contact and proactively ensuring their satisfaction.
  • Make regular outbound calls to build relationships and uncover opportunities.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to grow accounts through strategic upselling, cross-selling, and introducing new solutions.
  • Understand customer needs and recommend solutions that genuinely add value.
  • Build and nurture long-term, trusted partnerships that foster loyalty and encourage repeat business.
  • Identify and manage opportunities within your sales pipeline.
  • Resolve customer queries and work with internal teams to deliver a great experience.
  • Work collaboratively with marketing, operations, and finance teams to ensure account alignment and smooth internal communication.
  • Work towards account growth, revenue and retention targets.

What we’re looking for

  • A natural people-person who enjoys speaking with customers.
  • Confident and comfortable on the phone.
  • Proactive, commercially minded and motivated by results.
  • A genuine passion for building strong customer relationships and delivering outstanding service.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a calm, professional approach when faced with challenges.
  • Someone who takes ownership of their accounts and looks for ways to grow them.
  • The ability to work independently while also being a collaborative team player.
  • A commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on market and product developments.
  • Previous sales or account management experience would be an advantage.

£33,000.00-£39,000.00 per year.

Hours Of Work:

8am till 5pm - Monday - Friday, Wednesday 7:45am start. No Evenings or weekend work required.
