The Sales Account Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Newcastle Upon Tyne. This role is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of customer accounts, maintaining strong relationships, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Day-to-day tasks include:
- Identifying sales opportunities
- Generating leads
- Preparing quotations
- Following up to secure orders
The Sales Account Manager will collaborate with internal teams to coordinate product availability, delivery schedules, and resolve customer issues promptly. The role also involves monitoring market trends, reporting on sales performance, and actively promoting City Electrical Factors’ products and services to meet and exceed sales targets.
Qualifications
- Strong Account Management and Lead Generation skills to develop and grow customer portfolios.
- Proven Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction skills to deliver reliable support and build long-term relationships.
- Effective Communication skills, both written and verbal, to engage with customers and internal teams clearly and professionally.
- Relevant experience in B2B sales, preferably within electrical wholesale or related industries, is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple accounts, and meet sales targets and deadlines.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and basic IT tools for managing customer data and preparing reports.
- A valid driver’s license and willingness to visit customer sites as required.
- Formal education in business, sales, or a related field is an advantage but equivalent practical experience will be considered.
