Job Title: Sales & Account Manager
We are recruiting for an ambitious, driven and commercially minded Sales & Account Manager who is looking for a career role and the opportunity to progress and flourish.
This is an opportunity to take ownership of an established active client portfolio and to generate approximately £150k of new business annually which is highly achievable looking at the average order value.
If you’re motivated by targets, enjoy picking up the phone, creating opportunities and winning new business, this could be the role where you really make your mark. The more you put in, the more you can get out. For the right person, there is genuine opportunity to develop your responsibilities, progress your career and potentially move into a future management position as the business continues to grow.

Our client is an established and growing business supplying products and services to secondary schools across the UK and British schools overseas.

The traditional market is well established, but there is significant growth potential across a wider and expanding product range. The business is looking for someone who sees opportunity and who is excited by the challenge of winning new customers and growing existing accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and engage decision-makers within prospect organisations to generate new sales opportunities.
- Proactively generate new business through outbound telephone and email activity.
- Manage and grow an established customer portfolio, maximising retention and revenue.
- Work towards agreed turnover, margin and new business targets.
- Develop compelling sales pitches tailored to individual customer requirements.
- Negotiate confidently and convert opportunities into profitable sales.
- Identify opportunities to introduce customers to new and developing products.
