CCL Components Ltd is one of the UK’s leading specialist distributors within the Renewable Energy sector, supplying high-quality products across Solar PV, Energy Storage and Power Solutions.

As part of the wider CCL Energy Group, we are a growing international business with a strong focus on our people, customers and continued expansion.

We are looking for a driven and commercially focused Residential Sales Account Manager to join our Solar Sales Team.

The Role

You will be responsible for managing and developing a portfolio of new and existing customers, primarily working with UK solar and renewable energy installers. The role is focused on building strong customer relationships, generating new business and delivering profitable sales growth.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and developing existing customer accounts.
  • Prospecting and winning new customers through outbound sales activity.
  • Building strong relationships with installers and key decision-makers.
  • Achieving agreed revenue and margin targets.
  • Promoting CCL’s full range of Solar, Energy Storage and Power Solutions.
  • Identifying customer requirements and recommending suitable products and solutions.
  • Maintaining an active sales pipeline and following up opportunities.
  • Working closely with purchasing, operations, technical and international teams.
  • Resolving customer queries and issues efficiently.
  • Keeping up to date with products, market trends and competitor activity.
  • Supporting trade shows, exhibitions and other industry events.
  • Maintaining accurate CRM records, forecasts and sales reports.

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Target-driven, proactive and commercially focused.
  • Confident speaking with customers and developing new business.
  • A strong communicator and relationship builder.
  • Comfortable with outbound calling and prospecting.
  • Organised, motivated and able to manage their own customer portfolio.
  • Focused on delivering excellent customer service alongside sales growth.

Previous experience within B2B sales, account management, renewables, electrical wholesale or technical distribution would be advantageous, but full product training will be provided.
