Shotton Mill is one of the UK's newest and most exciting sustainable paper manufacturing businesses. As we continue our growth journey, we are looking for a proactive and customer-focused Sales Account Manager to join our commercial team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced sales support or customer service professional who enjoys building strong customer relationships, managing orders and identifying opportunities to grow business performance.
About the Role
As a Sales Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting customers and ensuring the smooth delivery of sales activities from enquiry through to order fulfilment. You will work closely with customers, production, planning and logistics teams to provide an exceptional customer experience while supporting the achievement of sales targets.

Key Responsibilities
- Act as a primary point of contact for customers and build strong relationships.
- Respond promptly to customer enquiries and provide product, pricing and service information.
- Prepare and manage quotations, following up to maximise conversion rates.
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Liaise with production, planning and logistics teams to coordinate deliveries.
- Monitor order progress and keep customers informed.
- Maintain accurate customer, pricing and sales information within CRM and business systems.
- Produce sales reports, forecasts and KPI information.
- Support lead generation and business development activities.
- Investigate and resolve customer issues and complaints efficiently.
About You
We are looking for someone who has:
- At least 2 to 3 years' experience in an internal sales, customer service or commercial support role.
- Strong customer relationship management skills.
- Commercial awareness and a customer-focused mindset.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- A proactive and results-driven approach.
- Experience using CRM and ERP systems.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Outlook.
- Experience in manufacturing, paper, packaging or an industrial environment would be advantageous.
