Sales Account Manager / Account Development Manager – Full-time, Permanent

Location: Hybrid working or remote working from anywhere in England (depending on where you’re located)

Salary: Up to £55,000 basic salary + commission, with OTE of approximately £75,000–£80,000+ per annum + car allowance + benefits

The Opportunity:

Are you tired of business development roles where you’re expected to make endless cold calls, chase short-term wins, and are judged primarily on activity levels rather than the quality and commercial value of the relationships you develop?

Perhaps you enjoy sales but perform at your best when you have the time to understand customers, build trusted relationships, and identify opportunities that meet their needs?

This is a predominantly account management focused role within an established SaaS business. You’ll inherit a portfolio of existing B2B customers and take responsibility for strengthening those relationships, protecting recurring revenue, and identifying opportunities for further growth.

Although this isn’t a heavily cold-focused position, it does require a strong business development mindset. You’ll need to recognise commercial opportunities, confidently pursue them and convert them into additional revenue through renewals, cross-selling, upselling and the introduction of further products and services.

If you have the curiosity and aptitude to learn a sophisticated SaaS solution and become a credible, commercially astute partner to your customers, we would love to hear from you!

Why This Role Stands Out:

  • Basic salary up to £55,000 per annum
  • Commission structure equating to circa £75-80,000 per annum
  • Car allowance £4,000 per year
  • Annual salary reviews with regular market benchmarking
  • Remote or hybrid working depending on where you’re located (to be discussed)
  • 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
  • Pension scheme with employer contribution and matched enhancements
  • Health Cash Plan including 24/7 GP access, dental and optical cover
  • Death in Service cover (4x salary)
  • Employee Assistance Programme
  • Paid volunteering days
  • Discretionary bonus
  • Modern office environment and collaborative culture
  • Team events, knowledge sharing and continuous learning opportunities
  • High levels of autonomy, trust and ownership
  • Structured training and development opportunities to help you grow
  • The opportunity to influence technical strategy within a growing technology business

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
