Job Summary

As an Internal Sales Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing customer accounts on a daily basis, developing long-term relationships with customers and overseeing sales. You should work to satisfy customers’ needs and requests, respond to their queries in a timely manner and aspire to deliver a positive customer experience. You will have excellent communication and negotiation skills and be customer service oriented.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of customer accounts to achieve long-term success through growth and profitability.
  • Develop positive relationships with clients.
  • Act as the point of contact and handle customers’ individual needs.
  • Generate new profitable business using existing and potential customer networks.
  • Resolve conflicts and provide solutions to customers in a timely manner.
  • Report on the status of accounts and transactions.
  • Achieve sales account targets, aligned with company objectives.
  • Liaise with materials and warehouse team to ensure a positive customer experience.
  • Suggest actions to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Liaise with suppliers where necessary.
  • Resolving any invoice queries raised by the customer.
  • Aiding our AR department when needed to get outstanding invoices paid.
  • Review of any open quality concerns.

  • Experience within the Mil Aero interconnect sector.
  • Engineering/technical background is preferred.
  • At least 3-5 years Sales experience.
  • Excellent IT Skills.
  • Ability to identify opportunities to maximise profitable sales.
  • Excellent Timekeeping & attendance.
  • Hardworking and reliable.
