Sales Account Manager: Specialist Drinks Portfolio

A GBP 35,000 + bonus

My client is one of the UK's most exciting premium drinks brands. With a unique range of products that are redefining a booming category, the products are already served in some of the best restaurants and bars in London and the UK.

They are now looking to expand the team with an important addition to their sales team. We are on the lookout for an ambitious, hungry and driven Sales Account Manager to help expand their presence across London's food and drink scene.

Sales Account Manager Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and win new independent on-trade accounts across London.
  • Develop opportunities within premium retail and alternative third space venues.
  • Deliver engaging product presentations and compelling sales/sampling pitches.
  • Create impactful in-venue activations that increase brand visibility and sales.
  • Build strong, long-term relationships with existing customers.
  • Maximise sales performance within current accounts.
  • Identify growth opportunities and improve account profitability.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service and ongoing support.
  • Conduct tastings, product training sessions and customer events.
  • Attend trade shows and industry networking events.
  • Build relationships with key wholesalers and route-to-market partners.
  • Manage your territory and sales pipeline.
  • Produce weekly and monthly performance reports.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity.

Key Sales Account Manager Qualities

  • Minimum 1 year of FMCG sales experience or 2+ years working within the on-trade: sommelier, bartender or beverage manager.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Excellent organisation and time management.
  • Commercial awareness and negotiation ability.
  • Confidence working independently in a field-based role.
  • Experience making cocktails or working within premium hospitality.
  • Full UK driving licence (not essential).
