Sales Specialist – Midland | Medical & Fitness
Location:
Salary: £35,000–£40,000 plus bonus
Travel: Regular field travel throughout Territory
The Opportunity
Are you a driven sales professional who loves building relationships, winning new business and seeing the direct impact of what you sell? Our client is looking for an ambitious Sales Specialist to take ownership of their medical, healthcare, fitness and wellness sales across Ireland. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a consultative, field-based sales environment and enjoys the freedom to develop their own territory. You’ll be responsible for the full sales cycle, from identifying and engaging new prospects through to demonstrations, negotiation and closing, while also developing long-term relationships with existing customers.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Develop new business across the medical, healthcare, fitness and wellness sectors throughout Ireland.
- Build, manage and continually develop a strong territory sales pipeline.
- Prospect and engage with hospitals, clinics, healthcare professionals, fitness facilities, physiotherapy centres and wellness businesses.
- Deliver engaging product demonstrations, presentations and customer training.
- Own the complete sales process, from lead generation and qualification through to proposal, negotiation and close.
- Develop key accounts and identify multi-site and strategic growth opportunities.
- Attend relevant medical, fitness and industry events to generate opportunities and build relationships.
- Create territory plans, sales forecasts and account development strategies.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and provide reliable pipeline forecasts.
- Keep up to date with competitor activity and identify new opportunities within the Irish market.
- Work collaboratively with European Marketing, Customer Service, Technical Support and Sales teams.

What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for a commercially minded sales professional who is confident prospecting, building relationships and converting opportunities into long-term customers. You’ll ideally have:
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
- 2+ years' B2B sales experience within medical devices, healthcare, fitness technology, wellness or a related sector.
- A proven track record of winning new business and developing customer relationships.
- Excellent English communication and presentation skills.
- Strong commercial, negotiation and territory-management abilities.
- A full, valid driving licence and the flexibility to travel regularly throughout Ireland.

Desirable Experience
It would be great if you also have:
- Medical device or diagnostics sales experience.
- Experience selling into hospitals, clinics, nutrition, rehabilitation, fitness or wellness environments.
- Experience selling capital equipment or technology solutions.
- An established network within the Irish healthcare or fitness market.
