Sales Account Manager - North (Fixed Term Contract - 6 months)
£39,686 to £44,095 per annum + car + bonus

We are currently looking for a passionate, motivated and customer-focussed Sales Account Manager to join us on a fixed term contract of 6 months, covering the North. You'll be a confident communicator who thrives on building strong relationships, identifying opportunities and delivering exceptional service. With a positive attitude, high levels of motivation and a proactive approach, you'll enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and taking ownership of your accounts to achieve outstanding results. Key Responsibilities
As our Sales Account Manager include:
- Actively building company turnover and profitability of all product categories with customer accounts in the allocated Key Account territory
- Providing a professional, world class service to customers by planning sales calls effectively to ensure nominated customers are visited regularly and in a timely manner, so that orders are generated to meet their sales needs
- Actively seeking out new value adding customers for the product ranges that can further grow sales
- Striving for cash and percentage margin improvement, delivering budget as a minimum
- Prioritising Pareto Accounts that contribute the most significant proportion of territory sales
- Exploring and innovating new trading opportunities with existing customers to grow sales
- Communicating regularly to the product team with market intelligence on competitor activity
- Controlling expenditure responsibly and within budget
- Attending scheduled head office sales meetings (Blackburn) and annual customer Expo events (UK wide)

Requirements
What we are looking for in our Sales Account Manager
You will have:
- At least 1 years' experience in a territorial sales position, ideally in the Interiors, wallcoverings or fashion textiles space
- Proven selling skills with independent retailers and trade customers
- Effective and efficient journey planning to maximise time with key decision makers
- Computer skills, to include Excel, Word and Powerpoint
- An understanding of profit and margin calculations
Your territory as our Sales Account Manager encompasses c100 active customers in the north of England. The geography spans north from Phwelli in North Wales across to Boston in Lincolnshire. As such, there will be a requirement for regular travelling and occasional overnight stays to ensure maximum coverage and customer engagement.
