JOB DETAILS

KEY OBJECTIVES/PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

  • Delivery of sales targets and other marketing plan related objectives.
  • Identifying and targeting key accounts, building customer relationships.
  • Promoting the products per the Company strategy, making selling propositions and closing the deal.
  • Providing training and aftercare service to customers that use any of the Avanos Specialty Nutrition Systems range of products.
  • Collecting and reporting customer requirements, activity, and information.
  • Continuing to validate and update relevant information which is central to the Account Management Process.

Job Responsibilities

  • Achieve the sales goals set for territory.
  • Use the Key Account Management Process to identify the individual Key Account Customers with whom they are going to work in line with marketing strategy.
  • Develop individual plans and selling strategies for each of their Key Account Customers and/or Accounts.
  • Build professional value relationships with the identified customers so that they will view Avanos as the true partner in meeting patient needs.
  • Promote to customers the designated Avanos products, helping customers understand their superior value relative to the competition.
  • Work with customers to identify partnership opportunities in the form of programmes, educational initiatives etc.
  • To work closely with clinical trainer to ensure high quality and timely training on Avanos products.
  • Fulfil customer requests for information and/or expertise by co-ordinating with the appropriate resources within the team e.g. supplying literature, providing training, product knowledge etc.
  • Serve as a primary contact for customers to service their needs after the initial relationship has been established and continually meet with targeted customers to maintain a current understanding of their needs and expectations.
  • Complete administrative requirements and comply with guidelines and policies as set forth by the immediate their manager and Company as a whole.
  • Attend meetings and training sessions as designated by the management team.
  • Report any adverse events, including product failures to regulatory as per company procedures.
  • To comply with all UK regulatory guidelines and company SOPs.

KEY INTERNAL RELATIONSHIPS

Reporting into Regional Sales Manager LT SNS with a dotted line to the National Sales Manager ST SNS and other sales team colleagues, clinical trainer, Marketing.

JOB SPECIFICATION

Essential

  • Education/Qualifications/Training: A level science (Biology or similar) and /or Nursing or related Qualification. Typically Degree level (Science) or equivalent further study.
  • Experience: Credible level of secondary care selling and /or Key Account Management experience within medical devices.
  • History of sales success and successful project outcomes.
  • Examples of successful team working.
  • Therapeutic area experience.
  • Knowledge of relevant key customer base and associated local NHS market place.
  • Experience working with NHS tenders.

  • Skills: Good communication skills both verbal and written including well developed questioning and listening skills. Obtaining commitment for action. Strengthening customer relationships. Compensation, Pay Range & Job Grading

This role is classified within the company’s structured job architecture and compensation framework, in compliance with the EU Pay Transparency Directive.

Job Grading

The position is assigned to Grade 12 within the AVANOS job grading framework. Job grades are determined based on objective, gender-neutral criteria.

Scope of responsibility

  • Required qualifications and experience.
  • Complexity and impact of the role.

The grading structure ensures internal equity and consistency across the organization.

Pay Range

The annual base salary range for this role is between 40.000,00 GBP and 51.000,00 GBP gross per year.

Placement Within This Range Is Determined Based On

  • Relevant professional experience (education (clinical- medical)/ years of working/ Industry track-record)
  • Skills and competencies (languages / additional certifications / IT-skills)
  • Internal equity considerations (Gradings / PIR)
  • Market benchmarks (similar roles, other companies &/or industries)
