Express Recruitment is delighted to be working in partnership with a well-established and growing business, as they search for a Sales Account Manager to join their expanding commercial team.

The successful candidate will be a confident and driven sales professional looking to build long-term relationships with schools and other educational institutions, while driving new business opportunities. We are looking for someone with previous sales or account management experience, having dealt with customers in the education sector.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join an ambitious business that offers genuine career progression, flexible working options, and the opportunity to visit destinations and experience products first-hand. Alongside a competitive basic salary of up to £30k, there is an uncapped commission structure, generous holiday allowance, and excellent opportunities for professional development.

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience within a sales or account management role, having dealt with customers in the education sector
  • Passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with a consultative sales approach
  • Self-motivated and target-driven, with the ability to work independently and manage your own pipeline
  • Commercially minded with confidence in preparing quotations, managing margins, and working with CRM systems
  • Comfortable meeting clients face-to-face and delivering exceptional customer service throughout the sales journey

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of existing education customers, developing strong long-term client relationships
  • Generate new business through a combination of inbound enquiries, self-generated leads, and repeat business opportunities
  • Prepare tailored quotations and manage bookings from initial enquiry through to post-trip follow-up
  • Provide expert advice and recommend the most suitable solution based on clients' individual requirements
  • Proactively follow up quotations and convert opportunities into confirmed sales
  • Travel to destinations to develop product knowledge and gain first-hand experience
  • Identify opportunities to improve and expand the company's product offering
