Role: Senior Account Manager UK

The Senior Account Manager UK is responsible for owning and growing strategic business relationships with key enterprise and public sector accounts including academia. The Senior Account Manager UK identifies, prospects, and develops relationships with key decision-makers at target accounts with the goal of influencing demand for Cornelis Networks products through its global network of channel and OEM partners. This role carries a quota and is focused on driving sales from end customers that leverage HPC, data analytics, and AI for mission-critical purposes and benefit from the competitive advantages afforded by Cornelis Networks’ high-performance networking solutions.

The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in the HPC/AI ecosystem and a proven track record of influencing large enterprise/OEM engagements across complex sales cycles. This individual will align closely with OEM sales, product, and marketing teams to scale Cornelis’ presence in AI, HPC, and cloud infrastructure deployments globally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Formulate and execute direct sales strategies to achieve annual sales targets.
  • Identify and engage key customers and generate sales opportunities.
  • Maintain, manage, and build the sales pipeline in a CRM tool and report progress weekly.
  • Work closely with channel sales, partner sales, and OEM teams to advance sales opportunities.
  • Deliver presentations of company solutions to target end customers.
  • Foster close collaboration with internal product, marketing, and sales teams to nurture the pipeline.
  • Harness the technical partner ecosystem to extend field reach and enhance customer engagement.
  • Offer customer and market feedback to internal product teams for continuous improvement.
  • Navigate complex matrix organizations and influence cross-functional stakeholders toward shared business outcomes.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a STEM-related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in technology sales, with a focus on OEM, hyperscaler, or partner-led enterprise sales.
  • Proven success in a startup “hunter” sales environment. Must demonstrate a history in sales environments where >50% of leads are self-generated.
  • Proven track record of prospecting, building new relationships, and closing multi-million-dollar partnerships with customers.
  • In-depth understanding of the technical sales landscape for high-performance network interconnect technologies.
  • Strong strategic thinking, planning, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce CRM, lead-generation tools, and use of AI throughout the sales lifecycle.
  • Exemplary adherence to the highest ethical standards and integrity.

Location

This is a remote role with a preference for candidates based in the United Kingdom. Exceptional candidates located elsewhere in Europe may also be considered. The role requires approximately 50% travel across customer sites, partner engagements, industry events, and strategic meetings throughout the EMEA region.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive compensation package that includes base salary, performance incentives, and equity participation.

At Cornelis Networks, your compensation is only one component of your comprehensive total rewards package. Compensation will be determined by factors such as experience, qualifications, skills, and location relative to the hiring range for the position.

Depending on your geographic location, in addition to your total rewards package, you may also be eligible for additional benefits, paid holidays, and flexible work arrangements.
