About the Company
Ark is recruiting on behalf of one of the UK's leading events businesses, renowned for delivering award-winning exhibitions and live experiences across a range of high-growth sectors.
With an established portfolio of market-leading events and a reputation for innovation, collaboration, and commercial success, the business continues to invest heavily in growth and is now looking to hire two Sales Account Managers across its Consumer and Construction event portfolios.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-performing commercial team, selling exhibition space, sponsorship, and media opportunities while building long-term relationships with leading brands across two exciting sectors.
The Role
As a Sales Account Manager, you'll be responsible for driving new business while managing and growing a portfolio of existing clients.
You'll sell exhibition space, sponsorship, and media opportunities, helping clients maximize their presence at industry-leading events through a consultative, relationship-led approach.

What You'll Be Doing
- Driving new business by selling exhibition space, sponsorship, and media opportunities over the phone and at industry events.
- Building and managing client relationships, ensuring repeat business and growth.
- Attending industry events, networking functions, and client meetings to expand your portfolio.
- Hitting and exceeding sales targets with a strong focus on new business development.
- Collaborating with internal teams to ensure smooth event execution.
- Representing the brand professionally at trade shows, conferences, and networking events.
About You
We're looking for ambitious sales professionals with around 2 years' B2B sales experience who are ready to take the next step in their careers.
You'll likely bring:
- A proven track record in sales and business development, ideally within media, event sales, exhibitions, delegate sales, or sponsorship sales (around 2 years' experience).
- Persistence, resilience, and a strong work ethic.
- Confidence selling over the phone and face-to-face.
- The ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
- A proactive and strategic mindset with the ability to thrive in a target-driven environment.
