Sales Administrator
Cardiff | £30,000 | Full-Time | Office Based (Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm)
Yolk Recruitment is excited to be partnering with a growing training and education provider to recruit a Sales Administrator. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, keeping processes organised and delivering a first-class customer experience from the point of sale through to enrolment.

The Role
As the Sales Administrator, you'll become the main point of contact for employers and apprentices throughout their onboarding journey. You'll proactively manage multiple enrolments, keep communication flowing and ensure every learner is fully prepared before being handed over for programme start.
This is a fast-paced role that combines customer service, administration and relationship management, making it ideal for someone who thrives on keeping people engaged and ensuring nothing falls behind.

- Act as the primary contact for employers and apprentices throughout onboarding.
- Build strong, professional relationships from the very first interaction.
- Keep customers updated on enrolment progress.
- Respond promptly to phone and email enquiries.
- Provide guidance and support throughout the onboarding process.
- Help overcome barriers preventing employers or learners from completing their onboarding.
Onboarding & Administration
- Create and maintain learner records within internal systems.
- Send employment documentation for electronic signature.
- Set up apprenticeship funding through the Digital Apprenticeship Service (DAS).
- Issue onboarding information to employers and apprentices.
- Monitor active enrolments to ensure progress remains on track.
- Proactively chase outstanding documents and actions by phone and email.
- Maintain accurate records of all communications.
- Update internal trackers and escalate any enrolments at risk of delay.
- Prepare learners for a smooth handover to the wider administration team.
Customer Experience
- Deliver an outstanding customer experience throughout the enrolment journey.
- Build trust and confidence with employers and apprentices.
- Maintain regular communication to keep engagement high.
- Represent the organisation professionally at all times.

What We're Looking For
Essential
- Previous administration or customer service experience.
- Excellent telephone and communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office and digital systems.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
- A proactive approach with the confidence to follow up and chase outstanding actions.
Desirable
- Experience within apprenticeships or education.
- Knowledge of the Digital Apprenticeship Service (DAS).
- Experience using Aptem or another learner management system.
- Background in sales support, onboarding or account management.
Salary & Benefits
- £30,000 salary.
