Company Description Tardis Environmental UK LTD is a well-established environmental services provider, now entering its 28th year in business. Originally founded to supply portable toilets to the construction industry, the company has expanded from one depot in the West Midlands to eleven sites strategically located across the UK. Tardis Environmental now offers a wide range of services including waste tanker operations, fabrications, and water services. In recent years, the business has grown further with the creation of Tardis H2O on Site, a dedicated division focused on bulk clean and drinking water supply. This ongoing expansion provides opportunities for career development in a stable and growing company.

Role Description The Sales Administrator is a full-time, on-site role based in Telford. The position is responsible for supporting the sales team with day-to-day administrative tasks, including processing customer enquiries, preparing quotations, and maintaining accurate records in the company’s systems. The role involves managing incoming calls and emails, updating customer information, and coordinating with operations and depot teams to ensure smooth delivery of services. The Sales Administrator also assists with order tracking, follow-up on outstanding quotes, and preparing basic sales reports or documentation for management. Collaboration with colleagues across different departments is essential to provide responsive, efficient service to customers.

Qualifications

  • Strong administrative and organizational skills, including experience with data entry, record keeping, and document management.
  • Proficiency with office software such as email, spreadsheets, and CRM or sales databases.
  • Effective communication skills for handling customer enquiries by phone and email, and liaising with internal teams.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, work accurately under time pressure, and maintain attention to detail.
  • Customer service mindset with a professional, courteous approach and problem-solving attitude.
  • Previous experience in sales support, administration, or a similar office-based role is desirable.
  • Familiarity with environmental services, construction, or logistics sectors is an advantage but not essential.
  • GCSEs or equivalent education; additional qualifications in business administration, customer service, or related fields are beneficial.
