About the Role

Lynx Dry Cleaning Supplies supply a vast array of ever-growing product lines to the Laundry & Dry Cleaning, Bridal & Textile Industry. We are looking for a Sales Office Administrator to join our Sales & Admin Team.

To be successful in this role, you will need to be highly organised; be able to confidently communicate with customers and colleagues via email and verbally; be able to multitask and cope under pressure, whilst prioritising workload; and most importantly to have a positive and friendly attitude within the sales office.

Day-to-Day Duties

As a Sales Office Administrator, your day-to-day duties will include but not limited to:

  • Being first point of contact for all customer queries, answering calls and emails in a timely and professional manner.
  • Raising quotations and processing orders.
  • Dealing with courier enquiries, tracking deliveries and arranging returns.
  • Offering support to management when required.
  • Answering telephone calls and taking orders.
  • Handling general office tasks, such as filing, setting up for meetings.
  • Screening phone calls and routing callers to the appropriate person.
  • Using computers to take orders, book couriers, and conduct research.
  • Communicate with warehouse and drivers.
  • Deal with customer returns and queries.
  • Greet and assist visitors.
  • Maintain polite and professional communication via phone and email.
  • Anticipate the needs of our customers to ensure a seamless transaction.

  • Excellent telephone manner.
  • Be able to work in a team and independently.
  • Prioritise workload.
  • Strong customer service skills both written and verbally.
  • The ability to build relationships internally and externally.
  • To be confident in using Microsoft Office.
  • Driving licence due to remote location, onsite parking available.
  • Prior administrative experience.
  • Excellent computer skills, especially typing.
  • Great communication skills, telephone manner, and customer service.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Desire to be proactive and create a positive experience for others.
  • Quick learner and works well in a team.
  • Experience of Sage 200 would be an advantage.

Salary

Salary dependent on experience starting at 27k per year.
