JOB SUMMARY:
The Sales Administrator will support order processing, stock management, and coordination between internal teams, suppliers, and clients. They will assist the Sales and MRO Manager in building strong client relationships, driving revenue, and helping exceed monthly targets. The role also involves handling purchasing requests and keeping progress reports up to date.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Manage and process customer orders, ensuring timely and accuracy in order entry.
- Serve as a point of contact for customers, addressing enquiries, resolving issues, and providing product information.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and inventory levels using Quantum.
- Generate sales reports and analyse data to assist in strategic decision-making and performance tracking.
- Work closely with the sales team and other departments to coordinate efforts and streamline processes.
- Support for the Business Process Improvement project.
- Ensure the timely and accurate supply of the above to support customer requirements.
- Internal interaction with MRO Customer Services, Sales, Purchasing, Accounts, Stores, Logistics & Engineering/Warranty as necessary to accomplish objectives/duties effectively.
- Working with logistics companies and authorities to ensure import/export and customs clearance are transacted correctly and delays are minimized.
- Supporting the ongoing project to optimize business processes and use of Quantum with the goal of making the efficiency gains and reduction of manual processing.
- Processing orders, coordinating their fulfilment internally, with third party suppliers and with clients.
- Maintaining stock levels.
- Liaising with the Sales team, clients, and workshops.
- Assist in the generation of revenue and exceeding attainable monthly target.
- Assisting the MRO & Sales Manager in developing loyal and long-lasting client relationships through personal attention and follow-up.
- Keeping up to date with ongoing progress reports.
- Assisting the Sales Manager with incoming purchasing requests.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- NVQ Level 2, Vocational Qualifications Level 2, GCSE A*- C, ESOL Skills for Life, Higher Diplomas, Functional Skills Level 2 English, Maths & ICT.
- OEM or OEM recognised training.
- Aeronautical and Technical School, Aeronautical Military School or QA Assessment.
- Previous office/administration experience.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- A willingness to work hard.
- Have the ability to work well under pressure.
- A willingness to learn quickly and a ‘can do’ attitude.
- Must be able to work well both in a team environment and independently.
- Must possess confidence, positive attitude, strong work ethic & a drive to succeed.
- Able to manage time effectively.
- Excellent communication, listening and persuasion skills.
- Able to think creatively and independently.
- Microsoft Office suite of products including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Internet research capability.
- Enjoy working in a high energy, fast paced growing environment.
