Job details
This role is central to the day-to-day success of the business and contributes directly to operational performance and customer outcomes. As Sales Support, you will be responsible for helping us manage incoming enquiries, speaking with new and prospective clients and gathering the information needed to progress their requirements.

You will work closely with colleagues across the business to ensure that clients receive a prompt, professional and helpful service. Although the role will primarily support our sales function, you may also assist other departments with activities such as project bookings, allocations and general administration.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys taking ownership, solving problems and making a tangible impact.
What you will do
- Respond promptly and professionally to incoming enquiries received by telephone, email and through our website, speaking with clients to understand their requirements and explain the next steps in our process
- Gather and accurately record the client, site and project information needed to progress each enquiry, maintaining accurate and up-to-date information within our internal systems.
- Support the sales team in progressing enquiries and completing agreed follow-up actions
- Manage multiple enquiries and administrative tasks while meeting required deadlines
- Support the wider team when required and during busy periods.

Who you are
No previous experience in sales or administration is required, as full training will be provided. We are looking for a motivated and reliable person who brings a practical, positive and solutions-focused mindset.

You will ideally have:
- Excellent spoken and written English skills, with strong telephone communication skills and confidence speaking with clients
- A professional, friendly and helpful approach to client service
- Strong organisational, time-management and deadline-management skills, with the ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook
- Good attention to detail and the ability to record information accurately
- The ability and willingness to learn new systems, processes and information, together with a proactive approach and the confidence to ask questions when required
- The ability to work well as part of a team, build strong relationships across different departments and maintain a collaborative approach and commitment to doing things the right way
