Sales Administrator (Automotive Parts)
Location: Cannock
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm
Bonus: Quarterly Bonus
Salary: From £30k depending on experience
About Us
Partsworld has been supplying quality automotive parts and components across the UK for over 30 years. We're looking for a proactive and organised Sales Administrator to join our team and support the day-to-day operations of our B2B parts department.
The Role
As a Sales Administrator, you'll be providing administrative support and ensuring customer orders are processed efficiently. You'll liaise daily with customers, suppliers, couriers, and hauliers, managing the full order process from quotation and sourcing through to delivery and after-sales support.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Raising customer invoices and ensuring all paperwork is completed correctly.
- Booking parts into stock and processing stock movements.
- Booking parts out for customer orders and dispatch.
- Handling inbound customer enquiries via telephone and email.
- Preparing quotations and pricing information.
- Sourcing automotive parts from suppliers.
- Liaising with suppliers regarding availability, pricing and delivery schedules.
- Pacing any claims with suppliers.
- Coordinating deliveries with couriers and hauliers.
- Monitoring outstanding orders and providing customers with delivery updates.
- Maintaining accurate records and updating internal systems.
- Supporting the sales team with administrative tasks and reporting.
- Assisting with general office administration duties as required.

About You
We're looking for a highly organised individual with excellent communication skills and a strong attention to detail.
Essential Requirements
- Previous administration or customer service experience.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workloads effectively.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and Excel – proficient in Excel.
- A positive, professional, and customer-focused approach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desirable
- Experience within the automotive, motor factor or vehicle parts industry.
- Knowledge of automotive parts and components.
- Experience using EPC, stock management or order processing systems.
- Experience with Kerridge, MAM or Keyloop systems.
