Currently recruiting for an Internal Sales Executive to join a well-established business supplying products and services to the maritime, shipping and offshore industries.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous sales administration or internal sales experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. You’ll play a key role in supporting the sales team, managing customer enquiries and ensuring orders are delivered accurately and efficiently from quotation through to completion.
The Role
Reporting to the Sales Manager, you’ll be responsible for providing first-class support to customers and the wider sales team, ensuring orders are processed accurately while maintaining excellent service levels.

Key Responsibilities Include:
- Processing customer quotations and sales orders efficiently and accurately
- Managing customer enquiries and providing exceptional customer service
- Taking ownership of orders from enquiry through to delivery
- Liaising with warehouse and operations teams to ensure products are delivered on time
- Sourcing non-stock items from approved suppliers while maintaining target margins
- Processing customer and supplier orders through the CRM and finance systems
- Maintaining accurate records and audit trails
- Working closely with internal departments to resolve customer requests quickly and effectively
- Supporting the wider sales function and providing cross-departmental cover when required

About You:
- At least 2 years’ experience in an Internal Sales, Sales Support or Sales Administration role
- Experience using CRM and/or finance systems
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a busy workload
- High attention to detail and a methodical approach to administration
- A proactive attitude and the ability to work collaboratively within a team
