About the Role
Cross+Morse is looking for a Sales Administrator to join our team in Great Barr, Birmingham.
We’re looking for a proactive, organised and motivated individual to support our Sales team, help manage and develop our new system, support our ongoing business development activities, and act as a key link between internal teams and external partners.
With over 100 years of engineering expertise, Cross+Morse offers the opportunity to join an established UK manufacturer and become part of an experienced and supportive team.

Role Responsibilities
This role is in the sales department. You will handle incoming sales enquiries from our customers and build close relationships with them in dealing with sales enquiries, producing accurate and competitive quotes and being able to provide solutions to meet their needs and applications.

As the Sales Administrator, you will:
- Handle customer enquiries via phone and email
- Prepare accurate quotations and follow up to secure orders
- Manage orders from enquiry through to completion, ensuring proactive communication on progress or delays
- Provide customers with clear information on stock, availability, pricing, and product suitability
- Liaise with suppliers for products outside in-house manufacturing
- Accurately enter all enquiries, quotes, and orders into the system and ensure daily follow-up
- Monitor and share market trends and competitor activity
- Adhere to established company procedures, sales strategies, and quality standards
Required Experience
As the Sales Administrator, you will have:
- Previous experience working within a similar position.
- Experienced working within a fast-paced environment, either within manufacturing, distribution, reseller or any other similar industry.
- Strong communicator with excellent telephone skills.
- IT literate, with solid knowledge of MS Office (Excel & Outlook essential).
- Experience with Zoho software is an advantage, however, this is not essential.
- Flexible, reliable, and driven with a strong work ethic.
- Positive, professional, and adaptable, with a willingness to learn and embrace change.
