About the Role

Vasave Business Solutions Ltd is looking for an organised and proactive Sales Administrator to support our sales and business development activities.

The successful candidate will provide administrative and coordination support to the sales team, maintain customer and sales records, process enquiries, prepare quotations and documentation, and assist with the smooth management of the sales process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the sales and business development team.
  • Process and respond to customer enquiries through appropriate channels.
  • Maintain accurate customer, prospect and sales records.
  • Update CRM systems and maintain sales databases.
  • Prepare quotations, proposals, sales documents and correspondence.
  • Monitor sales enquiries, leads and follow-up activities.
  • Coordinate meetings and appointments with clients and prospective customers.
  • Assist the sales team with preparing presentations and other client documentation.
  • Follow up with prospective and existing customers regarding enquiries and quotations.
  • Monitor the progress of sales orders and customer requirements.
  • Liaise with internal teams to ensure customer requirements are communicated effectively.
  • Maintain organised electronic records and sales documentation.
  • Prepare regular sales activity reports for management.
  • Assist with market research and identification of potential business opportunities.
  • Support customer account administration and general sales coordination.
  • Ensure sales administration is completed accurately and within required timescales.
  • Follow company procedures relating to customer information, documentation and data protection.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in sales administration, business administration, customer service or a related role.
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Confident communicating with customers and internal teams.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and handle confidential business information.
  • Proactive approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desirable

  • Experience working in a B2B or professional services environment.
  • Experience using CRM or sales management software.
  • Qualification in Business Administration, Business Management, Sales, Marketing or a related subject.
  • Experience supporting a sales or business development team.
