We are looking for an organised, proactive, and customer-focused Sales Administrator to support our sales team and ensure the smooth running of our day-to-day sales operations.

The Role

As Sales Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the sales team and maintaining strong relationships with our independent plumbing merchant customers. You will be responsible for processing orders, managing customer enquiries, coordinating with internal departments, and ensuring customers receive an efficient and professional service.

The ideal candidate will have strong administrative skills, excellent attention to detail, and a willingness to learn about plumbing and heating products and the distribution industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Process sales orders accurately and efficiently, from initial enquiry through to delivery.
• Respond to customer enquiries by telephone and email in a professional and timely manner.
• Provide quotations, pricing, and product availability information to customers and the sales team.
• Liaise with suppliers, warehouse, and transport teams to coordinate stock and deliveries.
• Monitor order progress and communicate any delays or issues to customers and sales colleagues.
• Maintain accurate customer records, pricing information, and sales documentation.
• Support the sales team with administration, reporting, and general office duties.
• Assist with stock enquiries, product sourcing, and back-order management.
• Process returns, credits, and resolve customer queries in line with company procedures.
• Build and maintain positive working relationships with independent plumbing and heating merchants.
• Ensure all customer and sales information is recorded accurately on the company system.
• Support promotional activity, customer communications, and sales initiatives where required.
