We are seeking a highly organised and personable Sales Administrator to support our commercial activities within the aviation industry.

This role is central to the business and acts as the first point of contact for customers, suppliers, and potential clients. You will manage all aspects of sales administration, support lead generation and tender activity, and ensure that enquiries, quotes, and orders are handled professionally, accurately, and promptly.

The successful candidate will be confident, well-presented, and comfortable dealing with customers, representing the company positively at all times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Search for, track, and manage industry-relevant tenders and opportunities
  • Follow up on leads and support new business development activity
  • Act as the primary point of contact for incoming customer enquiries
  • Prepare, issue, and manage quotations, purchase orders, and sales documentation
  • Manage all incoming and outgoing sales administration
  • Maintain accurate records of enquiries, quotes, and orders
  • Liaise with internal engineering and operations teams to support quotations and delivery
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with customers and partners
  • Ensure a professional and consistent company presence in all communications

Must Haves

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Confident, personable, and professional when dealing with customers
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills
  • Ability to manage multiple enquiries and priorities simultaneously
  • Strong written skills for emails, quotes, and customer correspondence
  • Comfortable using office systems (CRM, ERP, spreadsheets, document tools)
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in commercial documentation

Nice to Haves

  • Experience in the aviation or aerospace industry
  • Familiarity with tender portals and bid processes
  • Experience generating or following up sales leads
  • Understanding of technical or engineering-led businesses
  • Experience working with Odoo ERP/CRM

Minimum Qualifications

  • Relevant experience in sales administration, customer support, or commercial administration

OR

  • Demonstrable experience in a customer-facing administrative role with transferable skills
