Pineapple Recruitment has been exclusively appointed by an established, high-performing company in Hereford to help them find a talented Sales Administration Supervisor.

As the business continues to grow, they are creating this brand-new position to act as the crucial link between sales, purchasing, and production. If you have a background in sales administration or customer service within a manufacturing environment and are looking for a genuine step up into leadership, this is an incredible spot to make your mark.

You won't just be managing orders; you'll be leading a supportive team, shaping workflow efficiencies, and ensuring customers get a top-tier experience from quote to delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a dedicated team of sales administrators, managing workloads, performance, and day-to-day team coordination.
  • Sales & Order Coordination: Prepare accurate customer quotations, proactively follow up on enquiries, and oversee end-to-end sales order processing.
  • Supply Chain & Purchasing: Manage the purchasing of core materials and sub-contracted services, keeping a close eye on supplier performance and lead times.
  • Operations Link: Liaise closely with internal production teams to monitor order progress, balance production schedules, and troubleshoot potential lead-time delays.
  • Stock & ERP Systems: Maintain system data integrity using business ERP software, tracking inventory levels and monitoring consumption of key components.
  • Reporting & KPIs: Track departmental performance metrics, lead regular progress reviews, and use data insights to keep improving team workflows.

What We're Looking For

  • Background: Proven experience in sales administration, commercial coordination, or customer support within manufacturing or engineering.
  • Leadership Experience: Experience supervising, mentoring, or leading a small team.
  • System Savvy: Good experience with ERP software systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Cross-Departmental Skills: Natural communicator who thrives on connecting sales, purchasing, and operations teams.
  • Attributes: Highly organised, detail-driven, and calm under pressure in a fast-paced setting.

Package & Benefits

  • Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
