About the Role

UK Staffing Group are recruiting on behalf of a well-established, family-owned business within the wholesale and hospitality sector for a Sales Administrator.

This is far more than a standard customer service or administration role. Working as the first point of contact for customers, you'll play a key role in ensuring orders are processed efficiently, deliveries run smoothly and customers receive an exceptional level of service. As you develop, you'll build relationships with your own customer base, work alongside the sales team and identify opportunities to grow existing accounts.

The Role

  • Act as the first point of contact for customer enquiries.
  • Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Prepare delivery paperwork and logistics documentation.
  • Coordinate with customers, drivers and internal departments to ensure orders are fulfilled on time.
  • Build strong relationships with customers and provide outstanding service.
  • Take ownership of customer account management activities.
  • Follow up customer enquiries and product samples.
  • Identify opportunities to upsell products alongside the sales team.
  • Maintain accurate records using internal systems.

What We're Looking For

  • 2-3 years' experience in customer service, hospitality, sales support or administration.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Highly organised with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks.
  • Professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Confident building relationships with customers.
  • Proactive, positive and team-focused attitude.
  • Strong IT and administration skills.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
