We have an exciting opportunity for 3 x Yard Sales Advisors within our new Barnsley (S75 3LS) branch!
Jewson Partnership Solutions (JPS), specialists in providing solutions and building materials for our customers in the Public Sector such as Housing Associations and Local Authorities, is on the hunt for a Yard Sales Advisor who's as passionate about great service as we are.

Hours
7.30am – 5.00pm Monday to Friday
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome customers to the branch and take an active interest in their projects
- Get to know our product lines so you can offer advice and help to customers, making the most of all customer interactions in line with our Jewson Values
- Help to prepare customer orders, load and unload customer and supplier vehicles using a Forklift Truck to minimise manual handling (training will be provided)
- Check incoming deliveries and report missing or damaged products
- Maintain stock levels in both the shop and yard areas, carrying out regular stock counts
- Keep the branch looking clean and tidy, to make a great first impression on our customers
- Make Health & Safety a priority and demonstrate how you can keep yourself and others safe at work
- On occasions drive our van to assist with customer deliveries

Required Skills and Experience
- Previous industry experience preferred but not essential
- Stellar communication and people skills
- Customer focussed individual
- Confident working both indoors and outdoors, with a strong focus on H&S
- Comfortable in a role involving extensive manual handling of bulky items
- Full valid manual driving license would be beneficial
