Sales Advisor (Permanent, Full Time)

Are you a natural talker with a passion for helping people and hitting targets? We’re looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Advisor to join our vibrant Consumer Sales team at KCOM. In this role, you’ll be right at the heart of our sales journey - supporting both new and existing customers, guiding them towards the products that best fit their needs, and delivering service that turns interest into loyalty.

From inbound enquiries to proactive outbound campaigns, you’ll have the tools, support, and freedom to drive real results. Whether it’s securing new customers or helping our loyal ones stay connected, your voice will make a difference.

Salary: £25,662 per annum fixed, plus £6,000 OTC (uncapped) and regular team incentives

Location: Carr Lane, Hull, with hybrid working (minimum 2 office days per week)

Working Pattern

  • Monday to Friday hours 8am-8pm
  • 1 in 4 Saturdays 8am-5pm
  • 1 in 10 Sundays 10am-4pm

What You Will Be Doing

  • Handling inbound enquiries from potential and existing customers, offering tailored product advice.
  • Making outbound calls to support both sales and retention campaigns.
  • Managing and converting your own pipeline - following up leads quickly and effectively.
  • Driving acquisition, upselling, and retention activity across your own customer base.
  • Hitting and exceeding individual sales targets and KPIs to help meet overall business goals.
  • Logging sales and order details accurately with basic admin and follow-up as needed.

Must-Haves

What are we looking for:

  • A proven track record of hitting and exceeding sales targets or KPIs.
  • Resilient, driven, and motivated to outperform expectations.
  • Confident on the phone and comfortable speaking to customers - both cold and warm leads.
  • A positive team player who genuinely cares about getting it right for the customer.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Previous experience in a sales role (retail, call centre, telecoms or similar).
  • Knowledge of working in a fast-paced, target-led environment.
