We're hiring for a commercial vehicle Sales Advisor at Hendy Nissan!
Through our expertise within this arena, we will provide you with the right tools and training to thrive within the automotive industry. What’s important to us is that you have the desire to succeed and an appetite for learning.
This is a great role for those already working in automotive sales, that may be looking to work more sociable hours (Monday-Friday) with occasional (half day) Saturday shifts.
The Opportunity:
In this New & Used CV Sales Advisor role:
- Whether it is by phone, online or face to face, you will be responsible for building rapport with customers to assess their needs and make recommendations for suitable products and services to meet those needs.
- Taking into account the nature of this role, it’s important that we maximise every sales opportunity to achieve sales and profit targets, therefore you will need to be able to work well under pressure.
- You will play an important role in proactively contacting both new and existing customers and following up leads to generate sales and repeat business, creating customer appointments, scheduling test drives (when possible) and arrange handover appointments.

Hendy Induction - please be advised that any new starters joining the business in their first week will be expected to attend a structured induction programme that will involve 2 days at our training academy in Portsmouth. More details will be shared at interview.
About You:
Previous experience in sales or customer facing roles would be highly advantageous, however this does not have to be from the automotive industry. Providing you have the desire to succeed and want to be part of a dynamic industry with a company that strives for 100% colleague satisfaction, possessing the below skills and behaviours will allow you to succeed:
