Salary

£30,000 - £34,000 per annum plus uncapped commission scheme

OTE £50,000 - £70,000

About the Role

A Housing Developer with an outstanding reputation in the new homes industry is expanding their sales team due to a number of exciting new projects kicking off. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Sales Advisor to join a vibrant and dynamic team in a rewarding sales environment.

Job Duties

  • Engage with prospective customers to provide detailed information and guidance on new build homes, ensuring a positive customer experience throughout the sales process.
  • Manage and develop a pipeline of sales opportunities, converting enquiries into confirmed sales effectively and efficiently.
  • Conduct viewings and presentations of properties to potential buyers, tailoring information to meet their individual needs and preferences.
  • Negotiate sales terms and prices in line with company policies to maximise sales performance while maintaining customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and customer interactions using company systems.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider sales and marketing teams to support promotional activities and events.
  • Keep up to date with industry trends, competitor activity, and product knowledge to advise customers confidently and accurately.
  • Attend regular training sessions and meetings to continually develop skills and product knowledge.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid full driving licence, enabling travel to various sites within the region.
  • Minimum of GCSEs or equivalent qualifications; further education in sales, marketing, or related fields is advantageous but not essential.
  • Proven experience in sales, ideally within the new build homes sector or property market.
  • Demonstrable success in meeting or exceeding sales targets through effective negotiation and customer engagement.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Strong sales and negotiation skills with the ability to close deals professionally and effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with customers from diverse backgrounds.
  • Good organisational skills to manage appointments, follow-ups, and documentation accurately.
  • Confident using IT systems and software to log sales data and customer information.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in new homes sales or property development sales is highly preferred.
  • Sales training or relevant professional qualifications in sales or customer service.

Working Conditions

  • Full-time position based primarily in Hinckley with regular travel throughout Leicestershire and the East Midlands as required.
  • Work predominantly in a sales centre or customer-facing environment with occasional visits to construction sites.
  • Standard working hours apply, with occasional need to attend weekend or evening events related to sales promotions or launches.
  • The role requires professional presentation and adherence to health and safety standards at all times.

This role offers an attractive salary package up to £34,000 per annum, alongside an uncapped commission scheme and a comprehensive benefits package.
