Position: Part-Time Sales Advisor (12-Hour Weekly Availability)

Location

Lipault Store, 120 Long Acre, London WC2E 9PA

Job Purpose

Offer Lipault customers exceptional service by projecting a positive image of the Company at all times, in order to maximise sales.

Assist in the maintenance of a tidy and well-presented store, maintaining high standards in all areas.


Principal Accountabilities

Customer Service & Sales

  • Offer advice on, and demonstrate, Lipault products in a professional manner to ensure a friendly shopping experience.
  • Introduce selling benefits and features of the merchandise range.
  • Maximise sales through detailed product knowledge and add-on sales.
  • Be knowledgeable about store layout, products, and stock availability.
  • Deal with customers in a cheerful, polite and efficient way, always considering their needs.
  • Handle customer complaints, phone queries, and unresolved issues tactfully in line with Company Policy.
  • Process transactions in an efficient and professional manner, adhering to Company Procedures.
  • Be fully aware of Lipault’s after-sales service, supplier warranties, and areas covered.
  • Maintain awareness of sales promotions, incentives, and product brochures.
  • Monitor sales figures, targets and commission on a daily, weekly and periodic basis.

Stock & Merchandising

  • Process deliveries and report any discrepancies (under/over) in an efficient manner.
  • Ensure backup stock and stockrooms are kept tidy and organised.
  • Be knowledgeable about current and new products, along with their selling benefits.
  • Assist in store layouts and merchandising maintenance, including internal displays.
  • Read and act on relevant Head Office communications.
  • Assist with stock counts as directed by the Store Manager.

Security

  • Address and report any security issues to Management when possible.
  • Remain vigilant while handling stock and monies, adhering strictly to Company Procedures.

Housekeeping

  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation in the branch.
  • Ensure daily cleaning is carried out and all fixtures, fittings, and stock are well looked after.

Operations & Administrative Duties

  • Handle telephone enquiries in a polite, helpful, and efficient manner.
  • Communicate all customer enquiries/orders to Head Office per Company Procedures.
  • Open and close the store per Company Procedures.
  • Carry out stock and personnel administration as directed by Management.

Attendance

  • Report for shifts 10 minutes early to prepare for the scheduled start time.
  • Notify the store immediately in case of absence or lateness to arrange alternatives.
  • If unable to attend work, must call the Manager directly by telephone as soon as possible.
  • Make up any lost business time and discuss attendance with the manager.
  • Attend training courses as directed, arriving promptly.
  • Adhere to company attendance policy.

Appearance

  • Maintain a well-groomed, neat, and tidy appearance at all times, in line with Company Dress Policy.

Health & Safety

  • Report any accidents, potential dangers, or hazards affecting staff/customer safety to Management.
  • Be knowledgeable of the Health and Safety Manual, fire safety procedures, and managing agent guidelines.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Perform other duties of a similar nature as directed by Management.
