Sales Advisor Part Time role (for domestic appliances such as premium washing machines, fridges etc), John Lewis, Brent Cross is now open!

We offer:

  • £14.80 per hour (plus commission)
  • to work 3 days per week on Monday, Saturday and Sunday
  • 20 hrs contract
  • flexibility to cover weekdays, holidays and sickness
  • onboarding and intensive training

We have some exciting new opportunities for enthusiastic, motivated Sales Advisor to work with our premium retail client in a prestigious department store. As a Sales Advisor, you will be responsible for building a great rapport with customers, demonstrating the range of premium products (white goods) using knowledge and expertise, and converting interest into a sale.

Overall purpose of the role:

As a Sales Advisor you will be forming part of a diverse and knowledgeable team of sales enthusiast within the John Lewis store, dedicated to delivering exceptional product guidance for our client. Your primary responsibility is to be the go to person for customers who are visiting John Lewis and looking to add or replace ovens, washing machines and other major domestic appliances to their homes.

You will serve as an invaluable resource for product knowledge, troubleshooting usage issues, and ultimately driving sales. It is vital to ensure each customer feels valued and understood through your deep understanding of the entire product range and solution-orientated approach. Beyond direct customer interaction, you may also contribute to growing opportunities for the brands in the store.

What we are looking for in a Sales Advisor:

  • Prior experience in a premium customer service environment
  • Professional approach, excellent communication skills
  • Personable, someone who enjoys building great rapport with customers and other work colleagues
  • Ability to learn and demonstrate a range of products to both the consumers and colleagues
  • Confident, passionate about making sales and target driven
  • Record individual sales data report daily
  • Proactive in making the most of quiet and challenging days at work (check the stock, ensure displays are working and the working area is tidied and clean, etc.)
  • Someone who is a problem solver and aims to find the best product/solution for the customer’s queries
  • Flexibility to cover weekdays, holidays and sickness

In return we offer:

  • £14.80 per hour plus commission
  • 3 days per week permanent contract (3 months probation period)
  • 20 contracted hours per week
  • Working days: Monday (11am-6pm), Saturday (10am-6pm) and Sunday (10am-6pm)
  • An exciting, part-time position working with a premium brand
  • Full training, uniform and kit will be provided
