Role Description

The Sales Advisor role is a full-time, on-site position based at the Plumbase branch in Haslemere. The Sales Advisor will serve customers at the trade counter, provide product advice, and process orders efficiently and accurately. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

The role involves:

The Sales Advisor may also support:

Qualifications

  • Strong Interpersonal Skills and Customer Service abilities.
  • Effective Communication skills, both face-to-face and over the phone.
  • Sales skills, including the ability to identify customer needs and recommend suitable products.
  • Training skills to help support and guide colleagues when needed.
  • Experience in plumbing, heating, or building materials (trade or retail) is beneficial.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and build long-term customer relationships.
  • Basic IT skills and confidence using point-of-sale systems and email.
  • Willingness to learn product knowledge and follow health and safety guidelines.
