Role Description

This role involves:

  • Creating and presenting design proposals
  • Following up on inquiries
  • Supporting customers throughout the purchasing process to deliver a positive, seamless experience

The Sales Advisor will work closely with colleagues to:

  • Meet individual and store sales targets
  • Maintain showroom standards
  • Ensure all customer details and orders are accurately recorded

The position may also include:

  • Participating in product training
  • Supporting new team members
  • Contributing feedback to improve showroom operations and customer service

Qualifications

  • Interpersonal Skills and Communication abilities: To build rapport, understand customer needs, and present solutions clearly.
  • Customer Service skills: To provide a professional, friendly, and supportive experience before, during, and after the sale.
  • Sales skills: Including consultative selling, closing techniques, and confidence working toward targets in a retail environment.
  • Training-related skills: Such as willingness to learn new products and systems and the ability to share knowledge with colleagues.
  • Relevant experience: In retail, home improvement, or design-led sales is beneficial.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to use showroom design software and basic computer systems, with strong attention to detail and accuracy in order processing.
  • Flexible working approach: Including weekends and peak trading periods.
  • Education: Secondary education completed; additional qualifications in sales, design, or customer service are an advantage.
