Role Description
The Sales Agent role is a full-time, on-site position based in Walsall. The Sales Agent will welcome customers to the showroom, understand their needs, and guide them through product options to support informed purchasing decisions. Typical responsibilities include:

- Demonstrating product features
- Preparing quotations
- Processing sales transactions
- Maintaining accurate records in the sales system
- Following up with potential and existing customers
- Handling basic after-sales queries
- Supporting promotional activities on the showroom floor
- Ensuring the showroom is well-presented, stocked, and aligned with current merchandising standards

Qualifications
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and communicate clearly with a wide range of customers.
- Sales and negotiation abilities, including experience working toward sales targets or performance goals in a retail or similar environment.
- Basic IT and administrative skills, such as using point-of-sale systems, maintaining records, and handling email and calendar tools.
- Organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple customer interactions and follow-ups efficiently.
- Ability to work on-site in Walsall, including weekends or peak retail hours as required.
- Knowledge of, or interest in, furniture and home furnishings is an advantage.
- Previous experience in retail, hospitality, or customer-facing roles is beneficial.
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education in business, sales, or related fields is an asset but not required.
