About Aura Flooring

The role
We’re seeking a motivated sales representative or area sales manager to develop trade sales and build strong customer relationships within an agreed territory. You’ll introduce Aura Flooring’s products and services to fitters, contractors, retailers and other trade customers, while growing new business and supporting existing accounts.
You’ll identify customer needs, discuss suitable products, provide information and demonstrations, and support pricing and quotations. You’ll also work with Aura’s internal sales, purchasing and warehouse teams to help customers get accurate information and reliable service.
This commission-based role suits someone who is confident developing business independently, organised in managing customer relationships, and comfortable working towards sales goals.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and develop new trade customers within your agreed territory.
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing accounts.
- Present Aura Flooring’s product ranges, service options and trade offering.
- Understand customer requirements and help identify appropriate products.
- Support quotations, pricing enquiries and follow-up activity.
- Keep clear records of customer meetings, opportunities and agreed next steps.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
