Sales Agent (Securities & Commodities)

Position: Sales Agent (Securities & Commodities)

Type: Hourly Contract

Compensation: $30–$80/hour

Location: Remote

About the Opportunity

micro1 is engaging experienced Sales Agent (Securities & Commodities) professionals to contribute to a cutting-edge project focused on advancing frontier AI benchmarks. In this role, you will use your real-world expertise in securities and commodities markets to create high-quality evaluation tasks that test how AI systems reason, make market decisions, communicate with clients, and navigate compliance requirements. You will work with substantial and varied materials, including market data, CSVs, PDFs, spreadsheets, client documentation, and regulatory references. No prior AI experience is required. The focus is on your domain expertise, market judgment, compliance awareness, and ability to translate authentic financial workflows into rigorous evaluation tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Develop realistic, complex evaluation tasks that simulate real-world activities across securities and commodities trading, client advisory, sales, and compliance.
  • Create scenarios that reflect authentic day-to-day workflows rather than simplified or theoretical market situations.
  • Source, compile, organize, and curate supporting materials such as market data, client documentation, spreadsheets, technical materials, and applicable regulatory references.
  • Define appropriate market decisions, trading actions, or advisory responses and explain the reasoning behind them.
  • Incorporate relevant compliance, regulatory, and client-protection considerations into task scenarios and expected outcomes.
  • Develop comprehensive evaluation rubrics containing 35+ criteria to assess AI-agent performance.
  • Evaluate areas including market judgment, compliance sensitivity, client communication, documentation accuracy, and adherence to financial workflows.
  • Ensure tasks require meaningful interpretation of multiple sources and multi-step reasoning.
  • Collaborate with technical and research teams to clarify task objectives and refine benchmarking standards.
  • Maintain accuracy, realism, consistency, and professional quality across all submitted evaluation materials.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
