Company Description
GSC Agency is an established multi-service company based in Canary Wharf, London. We coordinate security, utility, property maintenance, cleaning, and legal support work for organisations across the UK.
Our work is varied and fast-moving, with the Sales, Admin, Accounts, and Operations teams working closely together to manage client requests from the initial instruction through to completion. As the company continues to grow, we are expanding our account management team and looking for organised, proactive people who are comfortable taking responsibility and working across different departments.
GSC Agency offers an environment where employees can build practical experience in sales, client management, and business operations while developing their own portfolio of client accounts.
Role Description
Your responsibilities will include:
- Working with the Sales Manager to approach and secure new clients
- Supporting the onboarding of new clients and understanding their individual requirements
- Taking independent responsibility for assigned accounts following onboarding
- Building trusted, long-term relationships with key client contacts
- Proactively obtaining new jobs and increasing work from existing clients
- Identifying opportunities for additional services, upselling, and cross-selling
- Receiving client instructions and ensuring jobs are processed promptly
- Preparing quotations, proposals, and supporting commercial documentation
- Liaising closely with the Admin Team to arrange and monitor service delivery
- Ensuring job instructions, quotations, purchase orders, and supporting documents are recorded accurately
- Monitoring active jobs and addressing delays, missed appointments, or outstanding updates
- Keeping clients informed from initial instruction through to completion
- Handling client queries, concerns, and service issues professionally
- Ensuring completion reports and supporting evidence are provided promptly
- Monitoring invoices and payment status across assigned accounts
- Following up with clients to help ensure invoices are approved and paid on time
- Liaising with Accounts and Credit Control where payment or invoice issues arise
- Maintaining accurate CRM, job, account, and sales pipeline records
- Reporting on account performance, client activity, and business opportunities
- Protecting client relationships and supporting long-term account retention

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to develop a career combining sales, client relationship management, and business operations. Qualifications
- Experience in B2B sales, account management, client services, or a similar commercial role
- Strong relationship-management skills and a genuine interest in providing excellent client service
- Confidence generating opportunities reaching out to existing clients
- A proactive approach, with the ability to identify what needs to be done without waiting to be instructed
- Strong administrative and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to take ownership of client accounts and manage them independently
- Ability to manage multiple clients and active jobs at the same time
- Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills
- Confidence handling client queries, service issues, and payment-related conversations
- Commercial awareness, including an understanding of pricing, profitability, and contract requirements
- Experience using CRM systems and standard office software to maintain records and monitor activity
- Ability to work effectively with Sales, Admin, Accounts, and operational teams
- Experience in facilities management, security, utilities, property services, cleaning, or another service-based industry would be advantageous
- Willingness to work on-site in Canary Wharf and occasionally attend client meetings
- A qualification in business, sales, marketing, or a related subject is beneficial, although relevant practical experience is equally valued
