About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Sales & Account Manager to join a growing technology business operating within the logistics and last-mile delivery sector.
This is a commercially focused, revenue-owning role combining new business development with strategic account management. The successful candidate will be a confident relationship builder with a proven track record of delivering against sales targets, winning new business and developing long-term commercial relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the full sales cycle from prospecting and lead generation through to discovery, demonstrations, proposals, negotiation and close.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across target logistics operators and operational partners.
- Manage a portfolio of key client accounts, developing strong relationships and account plans to support retention and growth.
- Identify and deliver upselling, cross-selling and account expansion opportunities.
- Take ownership of new business, revenue and renewal targets.
- Lead commercial negotiations, including pricing, terms and contractual agreements.
- Proactively identify at-risk accounts and develop strategies to support retention and reduce churn.
- Maintain an accurate and up-to-date CRM and sales pipeline, providing reliable forecasting and reporting.

- Work closely with internal onboarding, operations and compliance teams to ensure a smooth transition from sale through to delivery.
- Monitor market and competitor activity and provide relevant commercial insight to senior leadership.
- Represent the business at client meetings, trade shows, networking and industry events.
- Provide regular reporting on pipeline, revenue, renewals and overall account performance.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
