About ThatRound
ThatRound is building the infrastructure layer for startup fundraising. We’ve created an AI powered marketplace connecting founders with investors - helping startups raise capital faster with less noise. Think: “Rightmove for startup funding.”
The role
We’re hiring a Startup Partnerships Associate to work on the founder side of our marketplace. You’ll speak with startups raising capital, run discovery calls, guide founders through onboarding, and help them successfully prepare for fundraising. This is a great role for someone currently working as a BDR/SDR who wants to move into a full-cycle sales role. You’ll work closely with experienced operators and receive direct coaching as you grow.
What you’ll do
Startup acquisition
- Run discovery calls with founders with startups raising capital
- Qualify startup opportunities
- Convert founders into platform customers

Founder onboarding
- Manage onboarding and contracts
- Help startups prepare their profiles and pitch pages
- Guide founders through the platform
Startup relationships
- Support founders during early fundraising stages
- Answer questions and maintain relationships
- Ensure founders get value from the platform
What we’re looking for
You’ll likely be a fit if you:
- Have 2–4 years experience in BDR / SDR / outbound sales
- Want to transition into closing and full-cycle sales
- Are comfortable speaking with founders
- Write clearly and communicate well
- Work well in a remote-first environment
- Are resilient and motivated in customer success and outbound sales
Bonus if you:
- Have worked with startups
- Have experience selling SaaS and AI
- Have experience in venture, angel investing or fundraising

The hiring process

- Task + in-person interview – A short role-play task and discuss your thinking during an in-person interview - we'll be mindful of your time.
- Founder conversation – A final culture and values discussion with the CEO and founder.
