Purpose of the Role
The Sales Support & Events Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the sales team, coordinating trade events, managing administrative processes, and delivering exceptional service to both internal and external stakeholders. The role is responsible for ensuring the smooth delivery of sales initiatives, events, commercial agreement reconciliation, our Rewards programme, FAM trips and trade engagement activities while providing day-to-day support to the wider sales function.

Key Responsibilities
Sales Support
- Provide administrative support to the sales team across all regions inc supplier agreements and onboarding support
- Maintain and update internal systems, ensuring agent data is accurate and up to date.
- Produce sales reports, performance updates and management information as required.
- Process rewards, incentive payments and agent engagement programmes.
- Manage supplier contributions and event funding records.
- Track sales activity and support the team in achieving departmental KPIs.
- Manage brochure distribution function
- Track and reconcile departmental budget
- Provide commercial reporting and insight including KPI reporting, event/FAM ROI analysis and sales performance reporting.
- Oversee budget and financial administration such as purchase orders, invoice processing, and monthly budget reporting.
- Oversee governance and compliance including supplier agreements and travel documentation controls.
Event Management
- Plan, coordinate and deliver trade events from concept through to completion.
- Manage event invitations, registrations and attendee communications.
- Liaise with venues, suppliers and internal departments to ensure successful event delivery.
- Coordinate travel, accommodation and logistics for attendees where required.
- Manage event budgets and ensure expenditure remains within agreed limits.
- Support regional events, trade shows, conferences and networking opportunities.

FAM Trips & Educational Visits
- Coordinate agent FAM trips, educational visits and supplier experiences.
- Manage attendee selection, communications and logistics.
- Work closely with key suppliers to secure support and maximise participation.
- Ensure all travel documentation and itineraries are accurately prepared.
- Gather post-trip feedback and report on outcomes and return on investment.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in an administrative, sales support, events or coordination role.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Confident communicator with excellent written and verbal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Experience working to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable
- Experience within the travel industry.
- Event management experience.
- Experience coordinating business events and FAM trips.
- Understanding of the travel trade and agency community.
