Larchfield Estate is a family-run private country estate set in the rolling County Down countryside, within easy reach of Lisburn and Belfast. This carbon-negative destination offers a distinctive setting for private and corporate events, overnight stays, and filming, with heritage dating back to the 1600s. The estate features diverse spaces including walled and sunken gardens, a restored barn, an Orangery, and stables, providing flexibility for events of various sizes. Onsite cottage accommodation offers 20 rooms sleeping up to 43 guests, complemented by nearby hotels and properties. A hands-on, professional events team collaborates with approved suppliers for catering, entertainment, and activities to create tailored, memorable experiences.
Role Description
The Sales and Events Executive is a full-time, on-site role based at Larchfield Estate in Lisburn. This role involves managing incoming event enquiries, conducting venue show rounds, and providing detailed proposals and quotations to prospective clients. The Executive will coordinate event logistics, liaise with suppliers, and ensure smooth delivery of weddings, corporate functions, private celebrations, and overnight stays.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

- Maintaining accurate records in CRM and booking systems
- Preparing event schedules
- Collaborating with the operations team to meet client expectations
The role also includes proactive sales activities such as:
- Building relationships with agencies and corporate clients
- Attending networking opportunities
- Supporting marketing campaigns to grow event bookings
Qualifications
- Experience in event planning and coordination, including managing timelines, logistics, and on-the-day delivery.
- Background in sales or account management, with skills in lead handling, proposal development, and relationship building.
- Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Organizational and administrative skills, including attention to detail, use of CRM or booking systems, and proficiency with standard office software.
- Ability to work on-site, including weekends (mostly Saturdays), and to adapt in a fast-paced, operational environment.
- Prior experience in hospitality & events is highly beneficial; knowledge of the local area and market is an advantage.
- Relevant qualification in events management, hospitality, business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
