Role: Sales and Growth Manager, UK

Company: Meet Health Events

Location: London, office-based

Salary: £40,000 to £50,000, depending on experience

Reporting to: Managing Director

Experience: Minimum three years in sales

Education: Bachelor’s degree required

Focus: New business, sponsorship sales, pipeline growth and lead conversion

Team coordination: Day-to-day coordination of a remote lead-generation team

The Opportunity

Meet Health Events is looking for an ambitious and commercially driven Sales and Growth Manager to help grow revenue across our portfolio of healthcare and life sciences events. This is a hands-on sales role focused on generating leads, building pipeline, closing new business and delivering against clear revenue targets.

You will be responsible for developing your own sales opportunities while coordinating the day-to-day activity of a remote lead-generation team. The lead-generation team will support prospect research, outreach and meeting generation, but you will remain personally responsible for converting opportunities into sales.

The role is suited to someone who enjoys prospecting, building relationships, developing commercial proposals and closing business across healthcare, life sciences, technology, professional services and the wider market.

This is not a senior leadership or purely management role. It is a sales and growth position for someone who wants to be directly involved in creating opportunities, speaking with customers and delivering revenue.

About Meet Health Events

Meet Health Events is an award-winning healthcare events company and one of the largest organisations in its category in the UK.

Meet Health Events has built some of the strongest and most recognised events in its market. Our programmes provide commercial partners with access to senior decision-makers and create valuable opportunities for engagement, visibility and business development.

Role Purpose

The role will focus on four core areas:

  • Generating personal sales leads.
  • Building and managing a strong pipeline.
  • Converting opportunities into commercial agreements.
  • Coordinating the activity of the remote lead-generation team.

You will work with the Managing Director to identify target markets, develop commercial propositions and ensure that each event has a strong pipeline of sponsors and exhibitors.

You will be expected to manage the full sales cycle from initial prospect identification through to proposal, negotiation, close and handover.

Key Responsibilities

New Business Development

  • Generate new sales leads through research, prospecting, networking, referrals and market engagement.
  • Identify organisations that would benefit from sponsoring/partnering with Meet Health Events.
  • Build relationships with senior commercial, marketing and business-development decision-makers.
  • Conduct telephone, video and face-to-face sales meetings.
  • Create tailored commercial proposals and presentations.
  • Negotiate pricing and package terms within agreed parameters.
  • Close new business against agreed monthly, quarterly and annual targets.
  • Identify opportunities to grow existing customer accounts.

Personal Sales Performance

  • Deliver against an agreed individual revenue target.
  • Maintain a strong personal pipeline of active opportunities.
  • Generate your own leads rather than relying solely on leads provided by the wider team.
  • Maintain consistent prospecting and customer engagement activity.
  • Ensure each active opportunity has a clear next step and expected close date.
  • Track progress against target and take action where pipeline coverage is insufficient.
  • Maintain accurate sales records and forecasts.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
