Are you a visionary leader with a passion for driving sales and inspiring marketing innovation? Survey Solutions is seeking an energetic and strategic Sales and Marketing Director to lead our growth and elevate our brand within the civil engineering surveying and monitoring industry.
As the Sales and Marketing Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our commercial strategy. You will lead a talented team of sales and marketing professionals, championing collaboration and creativity to deliver exceptional results. Your insights and leadership will steer our efforts to capture new markets, nurture strong client relationships, and solidify our position as an industry leader.
Working closely with the executive team, you'll ensure alignment between sales, marketing, and operational goals, creating seamless processes that deliver measurable business impact. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to achieve ambitious revenue and growth targets
- Lead, mentor, and inspire the sales and marketing teams to drive performance, professional development, and a culture of excellence
- Oversee market research and analysis to identify opportunities, industry trends, and competitive positioning
- Champion brand development initiatives to enhance visibility and reputation across key markets
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, engineering, and business development teams to align priorities and maximize impact
- Manage budgets, forecasts, and reporting to ensure effective resource allocation and financial accountability
- Engage with key clients and stakeholders to build strong relationships and support long-term business partnerships

- Proven senior leadership experience in sales and marketing, preferably within the civil engineering, surveying, or monitoring sectors
- Strategic thinker with a track record of designing and executing successful commercial strategies
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and influence diverse teams
- Strong analytical skills, comfortable using data to drive decision-making and measure performance
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage high-performing teams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Experience managing budgets and delivering results within financial targets
- Passion for innovation, customer service excellence, and continuous improvement
- Relevant academic qualifications in business, marketing, or related fields are desirable
- Strong understanding of CRM systems and digital marketing platforms
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment and build strong cross-functional relationships
