Custom Pack Studio - Sales & Marketing Assistant
Custom Pack Studio is a growing specialist packaging business helping start-ups, emerging brands and established businesses access professionally printed packaging without the traditional requirement to purchase thousands of units.
As part of a wider group, we have the support and resources of an established organisation while retaining the entrepreneurial environment and opportunity of a growing business.
We’re looking for a Sales & Marketing Assistant to join us in Irvine and play an important role in our next stage of growth.
This is a varied role suited to someone who enjoys people, creativity and commercial activity. You’ll work closely with management, receive full training in our products and processes, and have the opportunity to take on increasing responsibility as you develop.
What you’ll be doing
The role combines three main areas:
Customer & Sales
- Responding to incoming enquiries
- Understanding customer requirements
- Preparing quotations
- Communicating with prospective customers
- Following up opportunities and helping convert enquiries into orders

Marketing & Content
- Helping grow our Instagram presence and wider social media activity
- Creating engaging content showcasing our products and customers
- Developing ideas for posts, reels and other content
- Supporting marketing campaigns and initiatives
Business Development
- Identifying potential customers and brands
- Developing relationships through social media and other channels
- Carrying out structured outreach to generate new opportunities
- Helping develop our sales pipeline as the business grows
You’ll receive training and mentorship throughout, including learning about packaging, pricing, our CRM and our sales process. As your knowledge and confidence develop, you’ll take increasing ownership of customer enquiries, pricing and opportunities.
About you
We’re looking for someone who is creative, commercially minded and confident communicating with people.
You don’t need previous experience in packaging or sales. What matters most is that you’re:

Previous sales, marketing, customer service or social media experience would be beneficial, but attitude and potential are more important than a particular career history.
What we offer
- £26,000 - £30,000 salary DOE + performance-related bonus
- 37.5 hours per week, with flexibility around working hours
- Primarily office-based during training, with hybrid working available following probation
- Full training and ongoing mentorship
