Sales & Marketing Internship - Miss Kim
Build one of the UK's most exciting emerging FMCG brands from the inside. Miss Kim is a premium Korean food and lifestyle brand on a mission to become the UK's household name for authentic Korean food and culture.
From premium retailers and museum shops to festivals, trade shows and national distributors, we're building something so much bigger than a food brand- and we move fast.
This is a seat at the table. You'll work directly with the Founder across sales, retail partnerships, CRM, trade marketing and product launches, with ownership from day one. You'll meet retailers and manage live accounts, and you'll see what it takes to build a brand from zero to national distribution.
The role sits mainly in sales, but FMCG doesn't work in silos. We want someone who can spot a consumer or category trend and turn it into a sales angle, and just as easily take what's working in store and shape it into a marketing push. If you naturally think in both directions, you'll thrive here.
We're looking for someone commercially sharp and career-driven, serious about using this as a launchpad.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
Your responsibilities:
- Owning and maintaining CRM systems and sales pipeline, alongside retailer or stockist applications
- Managing recurring customer accounts and handling sales enquiries directly
- Meeting and coordinating with retailers and buyers
- Analysing sales and stock data to spot category and consumer trends, and turning them into sales pitches or in-store activations
- Supporting trade shows and retail meetings
- Feeding learnings from retail and sales conversations back into marketing and content direction
- Spotting operational gaps and bringing solutions instead of observations
This is hands-on commercial work. You'll be trusted with real accounts and real deadlines from week one.
Who We're Looking For
We are looking for someone commercially minded who wants to understand how brands actually get built and scaled.
You might be a great fit if you:
- Are excited by FMCG and retail, beyond simple curiosity
- Take ownership and follow through without being chased
- Are highly organised and comfortable with spreadsheets and data
- Naturally connect what's trending with what will sell
- Communicate clearly and proactively, including when something's going wrong
- See a fast-moving startup as a chance to stretch yourself rather than a 9 to 5
- Are working toward a clear career goal in FMCG or brand building
Experience with Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel is required for this internship. Shopify or logistics systems experience would also be a plus, but isn't required- we'll teach you!
