Role Description

The Sales and Marketing Intern role is a part-time, remote position supporting outreach and engagement activities for OT Ecosystem. On a day-to-day basis, the intern will assist with identifying potential partners and clients, coordinating outreach campaigns, and supporting sales pipelines through follow-ups and basic lead qualification. The role includes helping with marketing initiatives such as drafting communications, supporting social media and email campaigns, and gathering feedback from community members and customers. The intern will also assist with customer support tasks, maintain accurate records in CRM or tracking tools, and contribute to presentations or training materials for prospective partners. Collaboration with the sales and marketing teams, as well as proactive communication in a virtual environment, will be essential.

  • Candidates should possess strong Communication and Customer Service skills for engaging with clients, partners, and community members.
  • Candidates should possess foundational Sales skills, including lead generation, outreach, and relationship building.
  • Candidates should possess an interest or basic experience in Sales Management and Training to support team initiatives and partner enablement.
  • Basic understanding or interest in cybersecurity, industrial systems, or technology platforms is beneficial.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks in a remote, part-time setting.
  • Proficiency with common productivity tools (e.g., email, spreadsheets, presentation software) and comfort learning new digital platforms.
  • Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently with clear communication in a distributed team.
  • Current enrollment in or recent completion of a program in Business, Marketing, Communications, Cybersecurity, or a related field is preferred but not required.
