Sales and Marketing Manager

As the Sales and Marketing Manager you will typically be involved in generating leads, scheduling appointments, and selling a range of estate planning services like wills, living wills, power of attorney documents, and trusts to individuals by understanding their needs and presenting solutions, often through face-to-face or video consultations, while also utilising marketing strategies to attract potential clients and build brand awareness.

You will also help build, lead and manage a team of self-employed sales consultants.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation: Actively source new leads through networking, community outreach, seminars, online marketing campaigns, and referrals.
  • Client Consultations: Conduct initial consultations with prospective clients to assess their estate planning needs, explain different legal documents, and identify potential issues.
  • Sales Presentations: Clearly present estate planning solutions, outlining benefits and addressing concerns to close deals and secure new clients.
  • Marketing Activities: Develop and execute marketing plans including content creation, social media engagement, email campaigns, and website updates to promote estate planning services.
  • Relationship Building: Foster long-term relationships with clients by providing ongoing support and proactively addressing their evolving needs.
  • Compliance: Adhere to all legal and ethical guidelines related to estate planning sales and marketing practices.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
